New Zealand Commercial Fish Species by Jenny Sahng

I’ve always been really fond of this 1999 version of the classic fish & chip shop poster. It was hung up at the local chip shop near my primary school, and I would gaze at it while waiting for my order. This is my recreation of the iconic poster as a ink pen line drawing. Something I really enjoyed during the process was googling a variety of photos of a particular fish species to try to create a good representation. Seeing photos of these fish in a variety of different angles, poses, and environments, alive and in the water, gave me such an appreciation for how beautiful, interesting, and playful they really are.

Our Teatowels are 100% Cotton and are generously sized at 730mm x 520mm to allow for some shrinkage when washed.
They are great at drying dishes but we think they are best being shown off and are a perfect gift for loved ones overseas.
